featured music friday - the return!
so i took quite a hiatus from this bit, but now that i started bringing my laptop into work, i have all my music. thus, the great return of fmf. todays installment focuses on a band called ambulance ltd. ive been a fan of these cats since larry and i saw them open for elefant like 5 years ago. they play a mix of folk, indie, shoegaze, and a bunch of other things, which is to say they play catchy, pretty songs. they received a little bit of major attention after signing to TVT and releasing a stellar lp (conveniently titled lp) followed by an ep that included a live track, a demo, and a few new tunes. the included track is called ‘anecdote’, form the aforementioned lp, and its simple, folksy, well arranged, and catchy as hell. alright enjoy it and enjoy your friday.
